According to a report, World Liberty Financial (WLFI), which is associated with President Donald Trump and his family, has issued a cease – and – desist notice to the creators of the newly announced ‘Official Trump Wallet’.
The wallet is developed by Fight Fight Fight in cooperation with Magic Eden, and it promises to support the trading of memecoins and other digital assets. This has sparked public opposition from Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. They have stated that WLFI and the Trump Organization are not involved in this wallet project, and any official cryptocurrency – related releases should come directly from WLFI.
The cease – and – desist letter has not been made public yet, and WLFI has not issued an official statement regarding potential legal action. This incident highlights the potential legal and reputational risks in the unauthorized use of well – known names in cryptocurrency – related projects.
