Golden Finance reported that the cryptocurrency trading giant Binance officially announced that it has completed the airdrop distribution of an additional 409 SKATE tokens to users who have applied for SKATE.
Previously, Binance launched SKATE on the Binance Alpha platform on June 9, 2025, and introduced the SKATE/USDT perpetual contract on Binance Futures on the same day. Eligible users could claim airdrop rewards through Binance Alpha points within 24 hours after the launch. This additional airdrop distribution indicates that Binance has made adjustments to its SKATE token distribution strategy, which may aim to further encourage users to participate in Skate-related activities and enhance the token’s activity and user holdings on the platform.
At present, it is still unclear what specific reasons Binance has made this decision and whether there will be similar additional airdrop plans in the future. However, this move will undoubtedly be welcomed by users who hold SKATE and may also attract more users to pay attention to SKATE and related trading activities on the Binance platform.
