In the latest NFT market standings, the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) has once again asserted its dominance. For the second consecutive day, BAYC led the sales charts, generating $1.55 million on Thursday, according to data from CryptoSlam.
BAYC’s impressive performance came from 40 transactions involving 29 independent buyers and 43 sellers. This positions BAYC as the second-highest NFT series in terms of historical sales, with a cumulative total of $3.18 billion. It trails only Axie Infinity, which holds the top spot with $4.27 billion in sales.
The Pudgy Penguins collection, also based on the Ethereum blockchain, secured the second spot for Thursday, achieving $950,857 in sales.
Following Pudgy Penguins, DMarket on the Mythos Chain ranked third with $710,878, down from its previous leading position earlier in the week. Immutable’s Guild of Guardians Heroes and Solana’s DeGods maintained their fourth and fifth positions, respectively. Guild of Guardians Heroes recorded sales of $576,688.40, while DeGods followed with $465,782.34.
Overall, the Ethereum blockchain led the sales across all platforms on Thursday, totaling $6.21 million and surpassing the previous day’s record of $4.33 million.
