OKX Wallet recently announced that it is conducting a system upgrade for the related services of the Fractal BRC-20 protocol. During the upgrade period, users are temporarily unable to view and manage the assets of the Fractal BRC-20 protocol, but other functions of the wallet (such as ordinary cryptocurrency transactions, transfers, etc.) can still be used normally.
OKX stated that this upgrade is mainly aimed at enhancing system performance, optimizing user experience, and alleviating on-chain data congestion issues. For instance, after the upgrade, new functions such as single-step transfer and token exchange might be added, making it more convenient for users to manage their assets. Meanwhile, the upgrade will also enhance security and better protect users’ digital assets.
According to the announcement, the affected services are expected to return to normal in the middle to late June 2025. After the upgrade is completed, users can view and manage various assets of the Fractal BRC-20 protocol again in the wallet.
As a well-known cryptocurrency platform, this upgrade of OKX may further promote the popularization of the Fractal BRC-20 protocol. This agreement aims to enhance the interoperability of blockchain assets and may attract more developers and users to join the ecosystem in the future.
