Golden Finance reports that Hypernative, a company specializing in Web3 security, has made significant progress in the capital market by successfully completing a $40 million Series B financing round. This financing was led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Ballistic Ventures, with participation from multiple institutions such as StepStone Group, Boldstart Ventures and IBI Tech Fund.
As a digital startup, Hypernative has been deeply engaged in the Web3 security field, with its core business focusing on the monitoring of off-chain data sources. By leveraging advanced machine learning models, the company is capable of accurately identifying potential threats to communities, economies, and governance. With this technological advantage, Hypernative can effectively prevent zero-day network threats, guard against governance and economic issues, and build a solid security line for Web3 applications, protocols, and digital asset managers, avoiding significant losses.
Since its establishment, Hypernative has achieved remarkable results in financing. As early as January 30, 2023, the company completed a $9 million seed round of financing, which was led by Boldstart Ventures and IBI Tech Fund. Blockdaemon, Alchemy, Borderless, CMT Digital, Nexo and some angel investors have made strategic investments. In 2024, Hypernative announced the completion of A $16 million Series A financing round, continuously injecting financial impetus into the company’s technological research and development and business expansion.
In the current era of vigorous development in the Web3 industry, security issues have become increasingly prominent. As the application scenarios of blockchain technology continue to expand, from decentralized finance (DeFi) to non-fungible tokens (NFTS), and then to various Web3 applications, the risks brought by security vulnerabilities are increasing day by day. Vulnerabilities in smart contracts may lead to the theft of user assets, market manipulation may undermine market fairness, and bridge security issues may trigger cross-chain transaction crises. The “real-time” risk monitoring platform provided by Hypernative can keenly detect potential risks before a hacker attack occurs, giving users sufficient time to take action and prevent problems before they happen. Its platform, through comprehensive monitoring of on-chain and off-chain data and by applying artificial intelligence and machine learning tools, can identify over 200 types of risks and plays a significant role in the Web3 security field.
This $40 million Series B financing round will inject strong impetus into the development of Hypernative. The funds will mainly be used to further optimize its risk monitoring platform, increase investment in research and development, and enhance the performance of artificial intelligence and machine learning models to more accurately identify and respond to the constantly changing Web3 security threats. Meanwhile, Hypernative also plans to use this fund to expand its team and attract more professional talents in the industry, including security experts, data scientists and engineers, etc., to enhance the overall strength of the company. In terms of market expansion, Hypernative is expected to utilize the financing funds to enhance market promotion, increase brand awareness, establish cooperative relationships with more Web3 project parties, exchanges, etc., promote its security solutions to a broader market, and help the Web3 industry build a safer and more reliable ecological environment.
