Golden Finance News: Bithumb, a well-known cryptocurrency exchange in South Korea, has issued an official announcement. To ensure that users can enjoy stable deposit and withdrawal services and to cooperate with the upgrade work of the Zeta Chain (ZETA) network (mainnet), Bithumb has decided to adjust the deposit and withdrawal business of ZETA.
The specific time arrangement is as follows: Starting from 5:30 p.m. (Beijing time) on Thursday, June 12, 2025, Bithumb will suspend the recharge and withdrawal services of Zeta Chain (ZETA). During the upgrade period, users cannot perform the deposit or withdrawal operations of ZETA.
Looking back, Bithumb has made adjustments to the deposit and withdrawal services of related cryptocurrencies on multiple occasions due to various network upgrades, maintenance or security issues. For instance, due to the Tezos hard fork upgrade, Bithumb suspended xtz deposit and withdrawal at 18:00 on June 4, 2024. At 10 p.m. on January 29th this year (Korean time), in order to support the hard fork of the Zeta Chain (ZETA) network, the deposit and withdrawal services of ZETA were also temporarily suspended.
Bithumb stated that after the upgrade of the Zeta Chain (ZETA) network (mainnet) is completed and the network is stable, the recharge and withdrawal services of ZETA will be restored as soon as possible, and the restoration notice will be issued to users in a timely manner through official channels. During this period, it is recommended that users holding ZETA closely follow the official announcements of Bithumb, make reasonable arrangements for asset operations, and avoid inconvenience or losses caused by the suspension of deposit and withdrawal services.
